Sometime back (apparently it was like three years ago) I made a new account because this one... Well everyone grows up ya know? Life sucks sometimes. 1 in every 1000 women have something called a molar pregnancy which means that instead of a baby growing, they get a tumor/mass of cysts that triggers pregnancy symptoms. Something goes wrong genetically during fertilization. Instead of a human you get a mass of tissue that can cause cancer. Normally this is caught between 4-6 weeks. Early enough that most women won't get attached. We are at 16 1/2 weeks. Our midwife doesn't request ultrasounds unless something appears to be going wrong.
